A terrestrial orchid flaunting velvety dark green leaves with silvery ornate veining, sparkly copper pink undersides and pink hued stems. A great plant to add to your terrarium display.

Origin: Taiwan

Soil: Aroid mix (please see our blog on soil requirements)

Fertiliser: As directed on your fertiliser of choice. Fortnightly or monthly during the growing season

Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings. Water when the potting mix approaches dryness in order to keep moist without over saturating. Fertilize at half strength when growing in sphagnum moss (once every third watering at most) and more frequently in bark mix.

Humidity: Medium - High

Maintenance: low. Cut flower stalk to promote continuous foliage growth. Cut back foliage to keep compact and promote new growth.

Flowers: While this orchid is not acquired for its flowers, this species does flower in Spring - Autumn, producing a tall 4-8cm spike with unique shaped white flowers.
