Gorgeous little jewel orchids with thick glittery white veining and a slight blush on a deep green leaf. Colours can range from a light creamy yellow to vibrant orange and can even turn pink if given enough light.

Synonyms:

Light: Category 5-7 (please see our blog on plant light requirements)

Soil: Aroid mix (please see our blog on soil requirements)

Fertiliser: As directed on your fertiliser of choice. Fortnightly or monthly during the growing season

Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings.

Maintenance: Prefers low light. Cut back foliage to keep compact and promote new growth points. Cut back flower spikes to promote continuous foliage growth.

Flowers: Yes but not acquired for their flowers. The non-fragrant, white, frayed flowers emerge from the centre of the rosette of leaves. Over a couple of months these spikes elongate, reveal their buds and flower for a month or two. Once flowered, new growth will generate at the base, the flowered growth will die away.
